What’s Next released the following statement regarding the current access landscape in Missouri:

“Let’s be clear, the court temporarily opened a pathway to abortion care for those who have money, are over 18, or earlier in pregnancy. Public and private insurance bans, parental involvement laws, and bans on later care remain unchallenged and enforced.

“At this moment in time, we call on Planned Parenthood to prioritize patients, not publicity. They need to appropriately and honestly communicate about appointment availability, and the limits to care patients might experience. It’s dangerous to mislead pregnant people who need time-sensitive care.”
